Welcome to our Village

Located in east-central, Saskatchewan, the Village of Quill Lake is home to just under 400 village residents.
Small, yet mighty, our village has been a central service, commerce, and gathering spot for our surrounding agricultural community for the past 115+ years.

Goose Capital of Saskatchewan

Situated just north of the Big and Little Quill Lakes, the Village of Quill Lake has been dubbed the “Goose Capital of Saskatchewan” as the village is located along the natural migratory paths of many waterfowl species, including Canadian and snow geese.

Rooted in Agriculture

We are a village that was formed by the railway and agricultural expansion into the ‘New West’ during the early 20th century. Incorporated in 1906, the village has since been a central hub for its extensive farming community for the last 115+ years.
